The responsibility for the maintainance of the County’s footpath network falls within the remit of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. However, the Community Council is keen to see the public rights of way around Tonyrefail free of overgrown vegetation so they are accessible to the public.
Should you be walking and notice a right of way that is overgrown then please fill out the form below and we will pass the report on to RCTCBC with the aim of getting it addressed as soon as possible.
A public right of way is a route registered on the Definitive Map under the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949. Footpaths are not to be confused with highway footways e.g. pavements on the side of the road.
