Coedely By-Election

Following the publishing of the Notice of a Casual Vacancy, an election has been called for the Coedely Ward of Tonyrefail & District Community Council.

The first official Notice will be the Notice of Election which will be displayed from Tuesday 10th March 2020. Those wishing to stand will need to collect nomination packs, along with a copy of the Electoral Register from Electoral Services, The Old Courthouse, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd, CF37 1JW. The deadline for the completed forms to be returned to Electoral Services is strictly 4pm on Wednesday 18th March.

Should more than one person be nominated then an election will take place on Thursday 16th April.

Lots of useful information about the process can be found on the Electoral Commission site here.

If you would like to speak to a current Councillor about what the role involves then their detail can be found here.

Any questions about the process should be directed to Electoral Services who can be contacted via the address above, or e-mail: electoralservices@rhondda-cynon-taff.gov.uk or telephone: 01443 490100
