NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY
TONYREFAIL COMMUNITY COUNCIL
COEDELY Ward

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to section 87(2) of The Local Government Act 1972, that a CASUAL VACANCY has occurred in the membership of the Tonyrefail Community Council for the Coedely Ward.
If an Election is not claimed as set out below the Council will be required to fill the casual vacancy by co-option in accordance with Section 116, of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2011.

An Election will be held if TEN Local Government Electors of the Ward give notice in writing to:

The Proper Officer, The Old Courthouse, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd CF37 1JW, or email electoralservices@rctcbc.gov.uk requesting an Election.

Such notice to be delivered no later than 14 days from the date of this notice. The computation of time in accordance with Rule 2 of the aforementioned rules disregards Bank Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.

A qualified person interested in being considered for co-option in the event of no election being claimed should inform the undersigned.
