At last night’s Council meeting the Chair, Cllr. Austin Davies proposed the motion below. It was unanimously agreed to support the motion against the downgrading of A&E services at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

Following the publishing of the Notice of a Casual Vacancy, an election has been called for the Coedely Ward of Tonyrefail & District Community Council.
The first official Notice will be the Notice of Election which will be displayed from Tuesday 10th March 2020. Those wishing to stand will need to collect nomination packs, along with a copy of the Electoral Register from Electoral Services, The Old Courthouse, Courthouse Street, Pontypridd, CF37 1JW. The deadline for the completed forms to be returned to Electoral Services is strictly 4pm on Wednesday 18th March.
Should more than one person be nominated then an election will take place on Thursday 16th April.
